Back from Austria

Last week we had a holiday trip to Ramsau am Dachstein in Austria. We made some nice rambles and I annoyed my boyfriend by taking photos of almost every wild flower and butterfly that came across. Also were there many free-range animals like cows and sheep, but they used to go away, when I wanted to touch them lol
On tuesday, we had the longest ramble from the Dachstein-peak down to the valley. It took about 7 hours and at the end we were totally dead and I had some serious circulation problems (I even puked out the very tasty Kaiserschmarrn, I ate on a cottage there - what a waste OTL). It was worth it, but the day after, even taking stairs hurt like shit and for the next days, we could only make shorter rambles.
On the last day, we stopped by the nearby town of Schladming (we had to do it anyways, because the train station was there) and we wanted to eat at a nice stylish café, we discovered a few days before. So we went in, wearing ordinary shorts and shirts and then noticed, that it wasn't a stylish café but a really posh and fancy restaurant and we were totally underdressed. They wore white cotton gloves just to hand the cutlery, we got a free appetizer with a half of an olive, some cream cheese and about a dozen of lentils on a plate and my dessert (marinated strawberries with cream and vanilla sorbet) came in three bowls. We felt like a sir and a lady in rags. But anyways it was totally tasty and also not that expensive.

So, now some impressions.
When I was taking the last photo (the one with the bug), another bug took a seat on my finger and sucked my blood. I guess they were in cahoots with each other or something... ò3ó

After ages of being lazy and stupid, I finally finished my new brog-design! (More or less) Now I can post stuff again. Yay! ;w;

(Did totally not want to do it, without a new design OTL)

TaS restart in 2012

Aloha, my leftover readers! °3°/

Long time, no post. As usual.
Anyways... Yeah, right. TaS will be back soon.
But to keep it going, more specifically to have reasons to update it more often I will kinda change the main topic of this blog. So it won't be just drawing-related anymore. It wouldn't make sense to do that, since I rarely produce anything postworthy anymore (Of course that doesn't mean, that I won't post any junks or stuff at all - just not enough to call this thing an art-blog).
So - to come to the point - I will soon blog about anything I like to share. Art, fashion, cute stuff, stupid things... whatever comes into my mind. I hope you don't mind that. Otherwise GTFO! lol

So with that said, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

See you in 2012

DoKomi 2o11 // Aki is working plz

Joyplz!1 Today i got a letter from the DoKomi-staff <3
DoKomi (Doitsu Komikku Maaketto) is a german AniManga-convention. Klick for da Websaito!
Last year, some of their organisators asked me, if I'd like to draw something for their website and I was like "OMGBBQREALLY?! °///A°" and so I did it °u°/ The first thing was this maid, they even printed on their flyers. I didn't see them before today and omg - it's an awesome rainbowfeeling to see something selfdrawn printed. >//u<
Proud!1

Now I can feel important uwúb

And they even said sankyuu, so that everyone can see it!

And here, the original maid lol:

And then, a few months later they wanted me to draw some other mascots. A tsundere and a shota-host. SHOTA!1 °U° I don't know, how they guessed, that I like shotas! Maybe because of my invisible Shotacat-Tatoo? D8 No, that can't be... They must have magical powers or something...
Nya. Anyways. Here the other characters. They added them to the website too. I'm always blushing so hard, when I see them there. I shouldn't go there again. That makes me unmanry D8

They said, that they'll invite me to the convention for free as a reward. And so, all you dudes and dudettes can meet me there. Yah. I'm sure, everyone wants it now. Because I'm important! ùwú
So watch out for the lovey dovey Yoah-cosplayers! Or the leftover bloody sludge of it...
I'm Noah lol.

Language learning with Internet-Kun

Attentionplz! I think this entry will not be interesting for all, but I thought it's maybe useful for some of you. Otherwise simply ignore the text. -w-/
Okay. So as you may have noticed by reading the title, this entry is about language learning. I'm pretty sure that some of you think about learning japanese or another foreign language one time or another and don't know how to start, or think that you need a pricey language course for that. Maybe you need that sooner or later, if you want to learn a language seriously and not just for fun. But for the basics, the internet comes up with really helpful sites and stuff for free and easy to understand!
I started learning danish (and reading kana) a few weeks ago and so I collected some thingies, which help me a lot. I'll share only japanese (cuz I think, you are interested) and danish (cuz I use it) stuff here, but I'm pretty sure it will work for almost any other language (or other stuff you want to learn) as well.
But enough of the blah, here we go~ (below the Inti-Kun junk lol)

inti
(Internet-Kun)

1. Audio language courses/Podcasts: In my opinion the most helpful thing you can get out there. And no, you don't need an Ipod therefor. Most of the podcasts have homepages or blogs, where you can download them as well, or at least listen. Just google it.

Recommendations:

Learn Japanese Pod - with Beb and Alex japanese / english //
I actually haven't listened to many japanese learning podcasts so far, but I'm really confident of this one!

Japanisch Podcast - with Sana japanese / german //
Cute, short lessons for those of you, who prefer german lol

Copenhagencast - with Louise Sand danish / english //
Highly recommended! Cute dialogues/short stories, which let you remember very well, what you have learned. Beside the main lessons, you can also download danish only lessons and pdf-lesson notes on the page!

Dare to Danish - with Rasmus Rasmussen danish / english //
Something for your lols! You can learn short, epic sentences like "Your lips look like slugs" or "I burped through my nose" here! Everything you always wanted to know...

2. Anki: A great, simple program, which lets you create flash cards, or download ready-made card decks.
I learned most of the kana I know, just by using Anki!
Check http://ichi2.net/anki/ to see how it works, and for the download. There is an online version as well.

3. Smart.fm: An online learning platform, where you can choose various goals to learn. It's like a game which is a little bit similar to Anki. With repetition and the like. But instead of just getting the answer shown by the program, you have to choose/give the answer by yourself. But be sure to change the language of your keyboard before you start typing, or you'll get wrong answers lol OTL
http://smart.fm/home

4. Lang-8: A community like facebook (I think? I don't have a facebook-account, so I don't know, but I guess), where you write something like a blog in the language you learn and native speakers correct the mistakes you have made. I'm sure this helps a lot, but I haven't subscribed there yet, because I don't think, that I already know enough to write something senseful orz
(What I do instead: I write kind of a diary or someting for myself and a few days later, the advanced me corrects it %DDD OTL OTL OTL)
http://lang-8.com/

5. Other Stuff:

Music, Radio and Tv-Shows: Things you can link with melodies or stuff you have seen, are much easier to remember, than just the bare stuff you read once upon a time. Also you learn some pronounciation there.

Recommendations (only danish this time, but I'm sure you know enough japanese stuff yourself):

DR P3 // Danish Radio broadcast
Drengene fra Angora / Angora by Night // Danish Comedy Show - very stupid in a positive way <3

Blogs and Twitter: Read a blog of your interest to pick up idiomatic phrases. I think you should know some idioms if you don't want to sound like a grammar-robot.
And if you have twitter, stalk follow someone you like. Most tweets are easy to translate, because of their shortness and are - like blogs - idiomatic!

dict.cc: Maybe the best online-dictionary of da whole webs with many languages to choose from. Unfortunately it has no japanese so far.
dict.cc
Also check out the language list!

Okay, i think that's it for today. I hope I haven't bored you to death. But feel free to throw some tomatoes and eggs if I did! °_°/

Anyways, here's another piece of... art... or something:

wan
(Beniko & Michio - Beniko is an OC of Momo! Wan wan!)

I'm too lazy to put up all the recent stuff, I made during the last weeks/months (although it's not much). If you want to take a look at it, go to Milkyheaven @ Animexx

Long entry is loooooong!
